Ingredients
- chicken thighs/breast (cut into pieces)
- garlic paste
- ginger paste
- red chilli powder
- sugar
- vinergar
- garam masala powder
- kasoori methi (dried fenugreek)
- salt
- 1-2 Onions
- 6-7 Tomatoes/puree
- cashew nuts
- butter
- cream
Directions
- Add garlic paste, ginge paste, red chilli powder and salt to your chicken and marinate for 15 mins.
- Add some oil to the pan and pan-fry the chicken pieces. Remove from pan.
- Roughly chop one onion and add to the pan.
- Add some oil and 1 tbsp butter and sweat the onions,
- Add 6-7 chopped tomatoes/tomato puree.
- Add 7-10 cashew nuts.
- Add some water.
- Add garlic paste, salt, vinegar, sugar, garam masala powder and red chilli powder and mix it.
- Let it simmer for 20 mins.
- Turn off the heat and blend the mixture into a fine pulp.
- Strain it into the same pan.
- Add some more butter, some cream, the chichen and kasoori methi.
- Let it simmer for 5 mins.
