Ingredients
- 6-7 medium to large apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp fresh grated ginger OR 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 3 tbsp apple juice/water
- 1 pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F (176 C) and set out a 9×13-inch (or similar size) baking dish.
Peel and thinly slice all the apples.
Add to the baking dish along with the rest of the ingredients and toss to combine.
Bake for 45 minutes (covered). Then carefully remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the apples are very fork tender and slightly caramelized.
Serve with Whipped cream.
